Grace Arlene Harris

 Grace A. Harris, 102, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at her residence in Marquis Place Assisted Living in Concordia, Kansas. She was born on May 25, 1922 on her family farm in Osborne County, Kansas to John and Ethel Seaman.

 She graduated from Osborne High School in 1941 and attended Fort Hays State University for several semesters. She married Dean Harris on June 8, 1945, and they made their home on a farm north of Bloomington, Kansas. They had one child, Deanna, born May 23, 1950. 

 During their marriage of more than six decades, they lived in Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

 She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dean; brother, Joe Seaman; sister, Henrietta Wade; and son-in-law, Steve Gates. 

 Survivors include her daughter, three grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. 

 A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 18, 2024 at the First Christian Church in Downs, Kansas. Interment will follow the services at Osborne County Cemetery, Osborne, Kansas.
