Dustin Alan Fuller, 34, was born on August 30, 1984 at Mitchell County Hospital in Beloit, KS. He passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019. Dustin will be missed by his family, friends, and especially his son, Joel.
He was the third of four children born to Brad and Paula (Grelinger) Fuller. He attended St. John’s Catholic grade and high school, graduating in the class of 2003. During his senior year of high school, he signed up to join the Navy, but his plans were altered due to a lung cancer diagnosis. He then attended the Auto Mechanic program at Vo-Tech in Hays, which he completed in 2004. Dustin worked with Heineken Electric where he’d been employed for 15 years. He was a member of the St. John’s Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Dustin spent most of his free time in the summer at Waconda Lake where he loved to camp, boat, and fish with his family and son, Joel. His witty and thoughtful personality would make anyone smile and laugh, especially as he enjoyed playing pranks on his family and friends. Dustin would light up your day with his ornery smile, and never knew a stranger. He was up for any challenge, whether it be hosting Thanksgiving dinner for the entire family, or being the family handyman. Throughout his childhood, Dustin enjoyed many family vacations including trips to Florida, South Dakota and Wyoming. He enjoyed a recent trip, traveling to Colorado, with his parents, siblings, nieces and nephews: a trip they will all cherish. Although a quiet man, he made an impact on everyone who knew him with a kind heart of gold. He will be missed deeply by all who knew him.
Those that will miss him dearly are his son, Joel Fuller of the home; parents, Kirby and Paula Kisslinger of Glen Elder; siblings, Dallas Fuller (Leah) and Erin Stewart (Jason) of Beloit, and Audrey Mayer (Travis) of Manhattan; grandmother, Dorothy (Horn) Fuller, Beloit; and nieces and nephews: Grant, Bradlee, Emersyn, Kingston, Lennyx, Jennings, and Cruz. He will also be dearly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father, Brad Fuller (2001); maternal grandparents Lawrence and Mary Margaret “Marge” (Winters) Grelinger; and paternal grandparents, P.M. and Geneva (Gates) Fuller.
